$25 a month = 150 eggs to children living in extreme poverty

The children and families we support with nutrition are struggling to have their basic needs met. Shelter is inadequate, there is no access to clean water, and their food source is uncertain.

While we strive towards sustainability in all of our efforts, we believe in crisis, it is important to meet immediate needs. By providing substantial protein, we believe this will allow parents to seek work and run the home and kids to focus on learning at school.

Mental Health Initiative

In honor of Shelton, a Lighthouse Christian Academy student, who passed away due to mental health issues this year, Roots for Zimbabwe, is joining efforts to begin a social work program for Lighthouse Christian Academy

Students at LCA live in extreme poverty, struggling to have their basic needs met. For these kids, school is their safe place.

Your partnership will help hire a school social worker and go toward efforts to maintain LCA as a place of refuge.

Chicken Project - Completed!

Roots for Zimbabwe now owns 200 chickens in the Bulawayo, Zimbabwe area. Each month the profit from egg sales helps pay local workers, buy chicken feed, and keep the business running.  The profit from the egg sales also supports Lighthouse Christian Academy, a school that exists to help kids living on the streets and in extreme poverty receive quality education and care.

Thank you for all those who made this possible. Your generosity is changing lives.
